I am currently expanding the Project Greenhouse Community, a group of young creatives initially organized in 2016 to build greenhouses and container gardens for the urban farmers of Barangay Tumana, into an actual physical space where artists can gather, develop community art projects, talk about issues surrounding their socially-engaged practices and share their knowledge with the residents of the Barangay.

In the coming months, Project Greenhouse will host art workshops amongst the residents of Barangay Tumana to explore the community's new understandings of and attitude towards their natural environment that may have resulted from the recent Marikina river redevelopment projects. These projects were enacted by the local city government in response to the 2011 supertyphoon Ondoy which devastated majority of the households in Barangay Tumana. Send me updates >
