Postcards

Portrait of an Aunt Overseas

Arcives

This is part of my project, Stories we only Learn through Skypecalls and Letterswhere I collect documents, paraphernalia and memorabilia that were kept by the members of the Filipino Domestic Workers Association (FDWA) as documentation of the growth of their organization. These paraphernalia were given to me by the leaders of FDWA to compile into a book that would tell the history of the organization.

These documents were displayed alongside books and other scholarly texts written about Filipino migrants in the UK and Hongkong, as well as documentations of the workshops we conducted for Curating Development.
